this morning on the way to work,
the radio taught me about this new nasa technology that can
approximate how many trees are on the planet by the unique sunlight reflection trees give off.
1. how cool is it that trees give off unique light
2. 400,246,300,201 trees
does that sound like a lot? it is 61 trees per person only! this fills me with a lot of anxiety, and i want to protect my trees. i know my trees are not here in utah (there are 12 trees in the entire state) so i am afraid my 61 trees are in a rainforest in brazil and about to be cut down! i think a great solution would be to actually give everyone ownership of their trees. that way people would never want to cut down their trees to print out silly pamphlets, or to build factories, or to make space for 2 additional parking spots. please just leave my 61 trees up!
